Vanity Fair has released a sneak preview of its annual International Best Dressed list and one name immediately stood out from the pack: HRH The Duchess of Cambridge (although she'll probably always be Kate Middleton to us).
The duchess has spent the majority of 2011 gracing magazine covers, style websites, and televisions thanks to her royal wedding ceremony, subsequent trip to Canada and the US and, most recently, the inclusion of her wedding dress as part of the Buckingham Palace summer opening.
Several of our other style crushes also made the list - France's First Lady, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy was given a mention as was the possibly-newly-engaged Carey Mulligan and the magnificent Tilda Swinton.
The list of best dressed men includes Justin Timberlake (who appears to be becoming some kind of Renaissance man what with the acting and the music and the golfing and the business strategising for Myspace), Colin Firth and Jenson Button.
