Samantha Ronson has been arrested for drinking and driving, it has been reported.
The DJ and sister of Mark Ronson - who previously dated troubled actress Lindsay Lohan - was stopped by police at 10.30am on Monday morning in Baker, California, for driving over the speed limit.
Ronson is thought to have failed a sobriety test and refused to be breathalyzed, prompting police to take her into custody.
Sources said that tests later showed she was well over the legal alcohol level in her blood, but remained mostly cooperative throughout the incident.
Ronson had been driving back from Las Vegas, where she played a DJ set, at the time of her arrest.
