Giambattista Valli for Macy’s

With the holiday season fast approaching, it’s time to shop for a new party dress. Before you fret over your budget, check out the new Giambattista Valli collection for Macy’s Impulse, which hits stores October 26.
The designer's line is the fourth collaboration in the retailer's series, following Matthew Williamson, Karl Lagerfeld, and Kinder Aggugini.

Fun, frilly, bright and bold, the collection is comprised of colorblock dresses, ruffled skirts, blouses, pants, and more. And at $50-$150, the pieces are priced far from Valli’s high-end red carpet fare.

“This capsule reflects my enduring loves, but is really a celebration of my biggest inspiration of all—the energy and vitality of women themselves,” Valli said in a press release. “I love dressing them for all their happiest moments, making them feel as special as possible. This collection is a passport into my world and a chance to experience the passion and romance of my house and Paris itself."
What exactly does said passport look like? Well, standout pieces include a metallic jacquard leopard dress in a bright fuchsia, a jacquard leopard coat (animal print lovers, you are so in luck!) and a colorblocked leopard jacquard dress.
Not much for spots? There are adorable ruffles in black, a sleeveless shift that is very office appropriate, and a peach blouse that can be worn just about anywhere.

Ladies, it’s not often we’d advise you to stand in line for something (we don’t do that sort of thing) but this 17-piece collection is well worth the wait. You’ll find that LLD (Little Leopard Dress) you’ve been dreaming of.

The collection lands online at Macys.com/impulse and in Macy's stores on Oct. 26.
