Kim Kardashian stepped out (seriously, the woman has made a career from stepping out of things and places) of her Manhattan hotel on Monday wearing an ultra-low brown dress and gold choker.
From the waist down it's fine, mostly because it boils down to being a neutral coloured pencil skirt and nude heels and, unless you've spilled Ribena down yourself - do they even have that in America? - it's hard to get that too wrong.
The top section is where things get interesting.
As a child I had to make a bag for my school textiles class. It was a drawstring tote affair in the cheapest material I could find (a beige cotton). When the thing was all-but-complete, I had to unpick and re-sew about half of it. A friend picked it up, tied the drawstring section around her neck and wore it round the classroom as a top to much in the way of hooting and merriment. I can't think why I'm reminded of this anecdote.
The gold choker is more than a little J'Adore by Dior.
Kim K's
beige 'n' gold arrangement?
Hot
Not
That
bag you made sounds horrendous
