Cheryl Cole to return to the UK X Factor?

Cheryl Cole is reportedly set to be making a triumphant return to The X Factor this year.
If reports are to be believed, Cole will return to the original show to join her replacement Tulisa Contostavlos at the judges' houses stage.
The surprise move back into the X Factor limelight comes just months after the Fight For This Love singer was unceremoniously sacked from the US version of the show back in May. According to reports, Cole has been offered countless options to return to the UK show, including the chance to perform and to be a mentor.
A source said: "Producers are desperate to bring Cheryl back in some way or another.  One option being discussed is for her to come back for the judges' homes week. Theoretically, she could help out Gary Barlow or Tulisa because she is good friends with them both.
However, the source later added: "But the general consensus is that Tulisa would be better. Cheryl has already been offered the chance to come back and mentor the contestants during the live rounds. There's also talk she could perform with one of the contestants for the grand finale."
Tulisa and Cheryl's choice to team up at the judges houses comes as little surprise after the two reportedly formed a firm friendship over the last few weeks. Former X Factor judge Cole was said to have sent the N-Dubz singer a bouquet of flowers on her first day in the job, while Tulisa attended Cole's celebrity-packed birthday bash at The Sanderson last month.

Meanwhile, Cole has been dealt another blow to her love life. After the 28-year old singer was widely rumoured to have reunited with her philandering ex-husband Ashley Cole, reports are now rife that the footballer had flings with three other women whilst trying to win back his ex-wife.
