Form an orderly queue ladies - James Franco has confirmed that he is officially single.
The Eat Pray Love actor revealed that he has split from long-term girlfriend and fellow thespian Ahna O'Reilly after five years together.
Talking to the August issue of Playboy magazine, the Oscar nominated actor said: "That [relationship] lasted about four or five years... We'd been living together in LA then I came to New York to go to school for two years."
He later added: "Then I signed up for more school at Yale. I think that was it for her."
Indeed, it seems that Franco's love of academia eventually drove the two apart. The actor, who was nominated for an Oscar earlier this year for his role in 127 Hours, is currently a PhD student in English at Yale University, having previously earned two undergraduate degrees at the equally prestigious Columbia University and UCLA.
Beauty with brain? ...We wouldn't say no.
